Tell us something interesting about yourself.
My wife and I love to explore local foods and culinary traditions. 

If you could have one superpower what would it be?
The world is moving in a very wonderful direction.  Fewer people are at war, starving and literacy and longevity rates are soaring.  The power I would choose would be to continue that trajectory solving our energy issues, religious conflicts and dramatic income inequities.

Analytical, Supportive, Creative

What do you like to do in your free time?
Read about history and the future, be with grandchildren, walk a golf course and explore local food traditions.

What are you most passionate about?
Healthy eating.  Family.

What are you currently working on?
I am building a food policy initiative at Purdue University to assist policy makers in determining the best strategies to improve the diets of at-risk populations, both locally and globally.
