Dr. Selina Wang
Dr. Selina Wang is the Research Director at the Olive Center at the University of California-Davis. To get to know Dr. Wang, we asked her to answer a few questions.
Tell us one interesting fact about yourself.
I never liked school, but I was in school until 28. I think I am done now.
What three words best describe you?
Energetic, compassionate, sensitive.
What do you like to do in your free time?
Cooking, baking, running, walking and spending time with friends and family.
What are you currently working on?
Everything that’s related to olives and olive oil.
What’s the last good book you read?
Last Lecture by Randy Pausch and Jeffrey Zaslow.
If you could have one superpower, what would it be?
Being able to travel thousands of miles in an instant. I could see my family more often.
What are you most passionate about?
I feel like I should say “world peace,” truthfully; I am passionate about being compassionate to others.
