Connie Weaver, PhD, is a Nutrition Scientist and Head of the Department and Distinguished Professor of Nutrition Science at Purdue University. To get to know Dr. Weaver a bit more, we asked her a few questions.

I have eight grandchildren. Five of them were on skis on our Christmas vacation in Colorado – the other three are still too little.
What three words best describe you?
High energy, passionate, achiever.
What do you like to do in your free time?
Water aerobics, skiing, playing with my grandchildren, and hiking.

Prague Winter by Madeleine Albright
